ABOUT THE CHURCH
HISTORY
New Light Missionary Baptist Church of Norwalk, Connecticut was organized by the Reverend Dr. Phillip Charles Joubert, Sr. on March 1, 1989 and the Church is now 33 years old.

It exists to help people find and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. We seek to provide a safe place for people of all walks of life to experience true life-change through authentic, biblical community with God.

Regardless of your story, your doubts, or your struggles, you are welcome at New Light Missionary Baptist Church in Norwalk, Connecticut.

The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is to be worshipped and glorified with the Father and Son. He regenerates the sinner's heart, indwells every Christian, convicts of sin, helps us in our weakness, and empowers us to live a fruitful Christian Life.

Salvation
We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; that this salvation is based upon the sovereign grace of God; that it was purchased by Christ on the cross; that it is received through faith, apart from any human merit, works, or ritual' and that salvation results in righteous living, good works and biblically informed actions to bring about godly justice wherever we live.
